About us
Letterato — an academy for teenagers
A space for freedom of thought
Letterato is a place where a teenager learns to think — not through memorization or rote learning, but by asking questions and searching for answers. Here, reasoning, defending your own opinion, and listening to others are part of everyday life.
What we do
We teach not what to think, but how to think
Since 2017 we've helped teenagers broaden their horizons and practice what school often can't teach: reasoned argument, critical thinking, and self‑expression. Here a teenager befriends the book and learns to understand a text deeply — not just to read it, but to see what lies between the lines.
How we teach
Education as an adventure
Our learning process rests on an innovative, interactive methodology. Teaching happens through case studies, role‑play, playful competitions, meetings with interesting people, and an individual approach to each student.
The principle is simple: give a teenager as much information as possible while motivating them to seek out more knowledge and ask more questions themselves. In each module, a teenager learns to process information through observation and analysis, to synthesize facts, to reason with arguments, and to communicate their own opinion clearly.
What makes us different
Here the teenager is the main character
We work in small groups, where every teenager gets an individual approach and in‑depth teaching — the kind no mass program can replace. It's practically an exclusive format: almost no one offers it to teenagers together with the extra activities that support their growth, such as producing an online journal, recording podcasts, or a mentorship program.
What it's like here
Freedom that teaches responsibility
Here a teenager doesn't just grow smarter — they grow: they find their own voice, learn solidarity, and make friends. Our environment is built on freedom, with one simple rule: my freedom ends where yours begins. Respect, support, intellectual debate — this is the environment that develops analytical thinking, the foundation of effective decisions.
What we believe
We debate ideas, not people
We believe every teenager has potential and their own path. We respect each member of the academy, and we see it as our job to help each one find their voice, their strength, and their direction.
Who it's for
For every teenager who wants to grow
For teenagers in grades VI–XII, across two age levels.
